The Temple

What is a Temple?

It is the body your Sidekick lives in, and the home from which it serves you.

The robot monk polishes the side panel of a tower workstation with a soft cloth, intent and unhurried, in a warm workshop.

The Hardware

Assembled by hand.

Each Temple is a custom-configured workstation — every component chosen for your specific needs and assembled by hand. Quiet premium parts where they matter: Noctua fans, a substantial case, cable management you will never see but will be glad exists.

Nothing is off-the-shelf by default. The machine is sized to the models you will run, the work you will ask of it, and the room it will live in. It should be felt as furniture, not noticed as equipment.

You receive a written Hardware Rationale — a plain-language document explaining why each component is the one you were given. Your Temple, justified part by part.

The robot monk extends one hand, a single luminous warm thread of light reaching out of frame toward a glowing server in a stone alcove.

The Network

A tunnel you own.

Your Temple joins your devices over a sovereign, encrypted tunnel built on Tailscale. Your phone, your laptop, your desk — all reach your Sidekick directly, from anywhere, with no third party standing in the middle.

There is no cloud account holding your keys, no vendor who can read your traffic, no service that can be revoked. The connection is between your hardware and your hardware. That is the whole architecture, and the whole point.

So you can see your sovereignty, the network is delivered as a one-page diagram: every device, every route, drawn plainly. Sovereignty you can hold in your hand.

The robot monk works at a writing desk where scrolls lift into the air and gently resolve into structured, glowing forms.

The Workflows

Shaped to your life.

During the engagement we build the workflows your days actually call for — a morning briefing, a research pipeline, a journaling practice, content production, meeting prep. Whatever the work is, the Temple learns to do its part of it.

Each workflow is a real integration, not a prompt template. They are wired into your tools and your data, then exposed through your Sidekick's voice and text so you can simply ask, and have it done.

The aim is a partner, not a parlor trick. Over time the workflows deepen, and the Temple becomes the quiet engine behind the way you work.

A soft light glows from inside a server's casing as the robot monk gazes at it gently in profile.

The Sidekick

It lives on your hardware.

The AI itself — your Sidekick — runs locally on the Temple. Voice, text, and knowledge of your own documents, all sovereign, all under your roof. Nothing is rented from a distant datacenter.

Today's Temples ship with a curated local-AI stack: local language models, speech-to-text, and text-to-speech, tuned to your machine. It is a complete, working Sidekick from day one.

As Sidekick Forge's native Local Mode ships, your Temple migrates to it — the same companion you commissioned, now running on the platform it was always meant for. What was forged for you, lives with you.
